Q: What days/hours are you open?
A: Monday-Friday 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday 10-4.
Q: Where are you located?
A: We are at the north east corner of East Main and Bartlett Streets in downtown Medford, Oregon next to Terra Firma Home and kitty corner from Lawrence's Jewelers (click HERE for map and driving directions).
Q: What kinds of services do you offer?
A: We are a full service jeweler providing comprehensive repair services, custom design and fabrication and, of course, sales of fine jewelry. About the only thing we don't do in the world of jewelry is watch repair. For a complete list of our products and services, click HERE.
Q: How long have you been in business?
A: We opened our doors in May of 2005 but owner/lead goldsmith Sue Rushing has been servicing jewelry customers (from behind the scenes) in the Rogue Valley since 1990, and on the west coast since 1982. (See company history and biographies page)
Q: If I bring in my jewelry for repair, how do I know it will be done right?
A: Several ways. Sue Rushing has over 30 years at the bench and has an immaculate reputation in the industry. If she does not personally complete the job, it will only be done by highly competent, highly qualified goldsmiths under her supervision and subject to her approval. All work is done in our store by us. We do not farm out work to job shops. Finally, we guarantee our work. Nothing leaves our store that doesn't meet our very exacting standards. We are confident that you will find our work up to the very highest levels of quality.
Q: Your store looks pretty high-end. Is there anything in it I can afford?
A: Of course! Looks can be deceiving. Don't assume that because our store has a sophisticated feel that everything in it is out of reach. Yes, we have things in the store for $5000 and up, but we also have many items for $100 and under. The difference between us and some of the others out there is that we don't carry low quality, inexpensive merchandise--you know, the 1/2 carat total weight diamond earrings for $99 kind of merchandise. You won't find that here.
Q: Do you do minor repairs such as ring sizings and chain solders?
A: Absolutely. There is no need to take any repair work anywhere else. We do the best repair work around at a reasonable price.
Q: If I buy a diamond on the internet, will you set it in a ring for me?
A: Certainly (subject to standard setting charges). But why take the risk? Our loose diamond prices are competitive with the internet and you get to see your stone before you commit to buy. In addition, if you purchase the stone from us, setting is free (a savings of up to $200 depending on the size of the stone).
